What is Gurdwara.
The Gurdwara, pronounced as ‘Gur-Dwa-raa’, holds a profound significance in Sikhism. Its literal meaning, ‘Guru’s Door’ or ‘through the Guru’, reflects the purpose of this sacred space – to serve as a portal for Sikhs to learn, grow, and seek blessings from the Guru (Guru Granth Sahib). Gurdwara is Widely recognized as Sikh Places of Worship in the Western world, Gurdwaras are a central hub for the community to come together and deepen their spiritual and moral practices.

“Guru Granth Sahib: is considered to be the ultimate and eternal Universal Guru by the Sikhs. It is held in the highest esteem and is regarded as a living Guru, not just a religious text..”
